Malva nut tree is a natural tree that grows itself inside the Virachey NP/CPA, Malva nut trees are not present in all Virachey NP/CPA. Normally, most of the Malva nut trees can be fruit around 20 years, based on the planting at the village location. The Malva nut is higher around 30m.
Malve nut tree is a natural tree that grows at the hill areas and it was very important for contributing to the community income. Basically, the community collects Malva nut fruit from the middle of March up to the middle of May and they can sell the fruit for $5-$20 per kilogram at the community market. Based on the experiences of the local community, the Malva nut fruit could get the fruit between every 3 to 5 years. Not getting the fruit every year but it will be based on the local weather as well.
The Malva nut fruit could be used for traditional medicine, food, dessert, skin lotion, and normally the Malva nut fruit was exported to Vietnam and Chinese countries.
