On March 08-11, 2020 in Torn Krapou Village, Ochum Commune, Ochum District,and Kachon Krom Village, Kachon Commune, Veun Sai District, Ratanakiri Province, NTFP project team and the cashew nut technician conducted and facilitated a refreshing training on cashew cultivation techniques to the key farmers at target villages with a total of 40 participants (08 women) under financing by the ICCO.
1. Purpose
Re-explain the business plans for cashew nut trading and quality standard of cashew nuts to members of the Cashew nut Agricultural Association and its follow-up plans.
2. Results achieved
– Participants will be familiar with the business plan and applicable.
– All participants will be familiar with the quality standards of cashews and can apply when selling cashew nut to middlemen.
– Many comments and recommendations will be shared by attendees for a specific business plan that can be implemented in the future.
