On 13 October 2020, the NTFP project team had conducted a Consultative Workshop on strengthening cooperation with authorities to promote the role of Community Forestry and Land Committees at RNN Coffee Hall in Banlung, Ratanakkiri province with a total of 44 participants, (08 females.) The participants are: _three NTFP’s staff, 13 commune target village authorities, 28 members of the Forestry and Land Committees, under fund supporting from DPA’s CORD and ICCO organization.
There are main objectives of the workshop;1,To establish cooperation with the authorities and the Forest and Land Committees and strengthen the implementation of the role and statute of the forest and land community.2,To raise awareness among stakeholders about the implementation of forest and land committee’s roles and regulations. 3, To organize and review the structure of community forestry committees and was included roles of women’s groups.
