At present, the indigenous people that possess cashew nut orchards received good income, which it is sort of their families’ significant livelihood subsistence, especially those that have lands around 5 hectares or more. Funding by ICCO, the Project of Land Economic Security for Indigenous People of NTFP, had created 5000 booklets of cashew nut for the indigenous farmers in Ratanakiri province to peruse the technical growing instruction, especially the M 23 varieties. NTFP had collaborated with ACTIS Company Ltd to make these cashew nut books to help the indigenous people to grow the M 23 variety to increase annual yield.
